Main Gate Creamery

Looking for some old fashioned ice cream? You won’t find it here. In fact, Lake Compounce doesn’t have anywhere that serves hard ice cream. But you will find some soft-served ice cream, and Main Gate Creamery is your spot.

Even during incredibly busy days, this spot tends to be a bit quieter, which can make a great alternative to all of the Dippin’ Dots locations scattered around the park.

The Dippin’ Dots stands tend to have lines, and they’re also outside stands. The nice thing about this spot is that it’s uner nice shelter, so you can take a break from the sun and also probably get your ice cream faster, which is a win-win to me!

Where to find Main Gate Creamery?

Right in front of the park entrance on the left. It’s an easy place to start or end your day, and its obvious location also makes it a good meeting point if your group plans on splitting up.
