Our Mission

The Story Behind Theme Park Bites

Back in 2013, I had the most amazing time visiting Disney for the first time at the age of 21. The experience at Be Our Guest blew me away—the theming, the food, the whole vibe—it was like stepping into a fairytale. Ever since then, I’ve been a theme park and food enthusiast, especially when it comes to Disney World and Universal Orlando.

As I started visiting other theme parks, I noticed a lack of information about their food options. It was frustrating to find scattered details and no reliable reviews. That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands and create Theme Park Bites. My goal was simple: to gather all the menus, prices, and unbiased reviews in one place, making it easier for families to plan their theme park adventures and make informed choices.

I’ve always loved Disney Food Blog, but I wanted to cover more than just Disney. Watching MagicJourneys on YouTube gave me the inspiration to expand my passion project and share my experiences on a larger scale.

Building Theme Park Bites hasn’t been a walk in the park. Gathering information and creating the platform has its challenges, but the desire to help others enjoy theme park food as much as I do keeps me going. (By the way, this website is a one-woman show, so please be patient with me as I continue to add content!)

Along the way, I’ve discovered hidden food gems and received encouraging feedback from family and friends. Having their belief that I can succeed in my mission of helping families make better decisions when visiting theme parks is a huge confidence boost.

What sets Theme Park Bites apart is the dedication to providing comprehensive information without any bias. I want everyone to feel welcome and included, especially those from diverse backgrounds.

My dream is to keep expanding and cover more theme parks, becoming a go-to resource for foodies who love to explore the tastier side of theme park adventures.

What to Expect

Right now, the website is undergoing a three phase process.

Current Phase

Phase One: getting as many menus and prices available for you, which means that food reviews will take a bit of a back burner for the time being. That’s not to say that if I have a review I won’t post it, but it’s less of a priority at this time as I know the easiest way to help is by gathering concrete information for the most people.

Phase Two: writing up a lot of food reviews! This is what TPB was truly created for, but it will take some time to feel like I can do this well. I have some ideas I’m already flipping between, but rest assured I think you’ll enjoy it – again if you feel like I’m missing something, please let me know.

Phase Three: focusing on social media. This portion of this project will be the most difficult for me as I’m a very great user of social media, but I struggle at execution. It takes me a long time to write a post (think what could take one hour for someone will take me anywhere between six and 24 hours, yeah, I’m time inefficient, always have been and I’m working on it everyday!). This phase will take awhile to get to considering all things, but once I feel like I’m in a good place with the blog that’s where my focus will be.
