Dippin’ Dots – Six Flags Great Adventure
As with many other theme parks, Dippin’ Dots tends to reign as the frozen treat of choice. Well, lucky day, there’s a few around the Great Adventure park! For those of you who are unaware of what Dippin’ Dots are they are frozen beads of ice cream created through the use of nitrogen.
Delicious, refreshing, scientific! No, seriously, they’re so good!
Where to find Dippin’ Dots?
I don’t know if this was because of the time of year I visited, but many of the locations are located within other buildings/stands and not as stand-alones, so bear with me! Although … maybe they’re just like this in general. Anyway, here you go!
At Sugar Shack, you’ll find a menu of nine flavors and a lot of options for sizes, you’ll find this to the left of the fountain upon entering the park. They have all nine flavors at this location but no covered bananas, which, to be frank, is a little weird.
That’s probably due to them being the only location to offer Banana Split though!
There is a stand-alone stand on the way to Macho Nacho and Empanada Guy in the Plaza del Carnival neighborhood. This location only has eight flavors in the form of ice cream and nothing else.
At Liberty Snacks, across from Ale House, you can find Dippin’ Dots there, too! This location has eight flavors available as ice cream and floats only.
Nestled in between the ride, Déjà Vu, and Mama Flora’s Cucina. You’ll miss it if you’re not paying attention. For such a large stand they only eight flavors, and based on their menu it doesn’t look like they do sundaes or floats here.
Over by The Pine Barrens you’ll find it attached to two other spots of interest: Funnel Cake Factory and Pine Barrels Beer Garden. You’ll find the most extensive menu here, however, only eight flavors are available here, but you will find everything else here.
Last spot is over at Metro Grill near to Wonder Woman: Lasso of Truth. This location only offers the ice cream in eight of the flavors.
