I have been in Fantasyland many times, but I never once noticed Pinocchio Village Haus at Magic Kingdom and I am ridiculously ashamed by that fact. But to be honest, I haven’t paid attention to many things around the parks before that didn’t have to do with my favorites of Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, and the People Mover.

It’s almost hidden away, but it’s across from the carousel in the center of Fantasyland, so don’t even ask how I managed to miss it. ?

So, when I “stumbled” across the Haus on the mobile app I knew I had to take a step inside and try a quick lunch. I mean, quick is relative as I spent an hour inside, but whatever. Anyway, I went a little ham and ordered too much food for one person in a sitting, but it worked itself out.

I ate here on June 8, 2024 (I mention this because of changes in the review) mobile ordered three items – the All-Meat Flatbread, a Side Caesar Salad, and the Key Lime Pie Tart. My total came to $24.04; there was no annual passholder discount.

If you’ve never mobile ordered food in Walt Disney World, I’ll just give it a thumbs up as it helps save a lot of time. I ordered my food in Tomorrowland, pressed that I was ready for my food to be prepared and by the time I arrived my food was ready within a minute or two.

Do it if you like having more time on your hands!

All-Meat Flatbread

All-Meat Flatbread ▸ $12.79 (current price is $13.29)
with sausage, pepperoni, ham, bacon, tomato sauce and mozzarella

This is an easily shareable flatbread among two children with four hearty slices. I actually had trouble getting through half of it because of everything I had ordered (just a thought).

The flatbread was thin, but not New York-style thin, and had tasty, salty meats of ham, pepperoni, bacon, and sausage atop mozzarella. I know that in years past this pizza was reviewed quite poorly, and I would never insult New York City or New Haven, CT pizza and say that it’s that good, but this is decent starter-quality pizza.

The sauce is every-so-slightly sweet and the crust was actually flavorful with a nice chew to it (actually, almost too much as it made my jaw hurt a bit).

Side Caesar Salad

Side Caesar Salad ▸ $4.29
chopped romaine, caesar dressing, shredded parmesan, and croutons

I think a lot of us are reasonably used to this salad coming with chicken, but quick reminder: this does not! I overheard someone complaining about that, but the name of this dish literally makes no mention of chicken nor does the description.

I liked that this salad came with fresh, crunchy lettuce … well, most of it anyway. Some of it was slightly soggy from all the dressing, which means one of two things: 1) this salad was sitting around for a little while before it was put on my tray or 2) I took way too long taking photos. ?

What I didn’t like? Some of the lettuce was lookin’ a little dirty. That tells me that they’re either not washing the produce thoroughly or not washing it at all and in either case, I’m turned off.

Aside from that, the croutons were crunchy (but not difficult to bite through) and were lightly garlicky, like it was made out of garlic bread, so extra points for that.

Rating: 3/5

Key Lime Pie Tart

Key Lime Pie Tart ▸ $5.49
with sweet whipped cream

If you’ve gone to EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival, you’ve probably had the Lemon Meringue Pie (ridiculously good ?). This tart reminds me of that exact pie just a key lime version.

The components are pretty much exactly the same, except that there is no meringue and this very obviously is key lime and not lemon flavored.

The filling is smooth, but didn’t deliver quite nearly as much of a punch as the Lemon Meringue Pie did. However, the tart base is very solid – the sides give in a little bit, which is great for biting into, but sturdy enough for little hands.

The whipped cream was light, lightly sweet and had crunchy golden balls on tops, which I thought were actually going to be chocolate, but were not. Overall, I think this is a great tart as it’s refreshing, isn’t too heavy, and can be shared among a very small group if everyone isn’t looking for a lot of dessert to eat.

Rating: 4/5

Overall Thoughts

Would I go back here? Absolutely. It’s a great air-conditioned location to grab food with the family and there are a lot of options to try from.

The flatbread pizza was generally tasty and I wasn’t left feeling like the food was unappetizing. The building is large with decent theming, has a lot of tables to eat amongst (and opportunities to push tables together for larger parties), and there’s mobile ordering options. I think it’s a great value for what you receive.
